Whilst we are rightly concerned about Covid 19 we continue to ignore the other important threats to life on the planet including human as well as fellow species. Major changes in Scale and Content to our Livelihoods and Lifestyles are needed if we are to avoid catastrophic Climate Change and Species Extinction. Since the onset of the Industrial Revolution we have been burning more and more Fossil Fuels, destroying more Forests and Natural Habitats, and creating more Economic Wealth to increase the destruction. We have to stop doing it. This means facing up to our responsibilities, challenging and difficult though it may be. Fortunately there is a growing movement especially amongst young people and older, including 3rd Age people, who are facing up to the challenges. The course will be based on two best selling Penguin Books of 2019: Greta Thunberg's 'No one is too Small to make a Difference' and 'This is Not a Drill - Part One: Tell the Truth'. More recent writings of the authors will also be considered.
