  • Description:

    This course will cover Genghis's early years and his family's desperate fight for survival. His struggle to unite the Mongol tribes and his first successful battle against the Chin at Badgers Mouth. The course will then focus on his fractured relationship with his two eldest sons and his near death from an assassin's poisoned knife. Finally, the course will examine his many conquests and one major defeat culminating in the rule of his grandson Kublai Khan at the time when the Mongol nation ruled half the known world.
