A highlight of ART 01 has been the ethos of collaboration and open mindedness. This has created a forum free of pressure that everyone thoroughly enjoys. Although there is no formal tuition, we will give guidance and set out a programme of, in the main, two-weekly sessions each dealing with a specific theme. We also plan to invite occasional guest speakers to widen our thinking and arrange break-out sessions on specific techniques including digital art. Participants are encouraged to experiment and enjoy this socially interactive group and also, when confident to do so, taking a lead on sharing techniques in some sessions. You can work in any medium (except oils), bringing your own materials and equipment. In the case of new members, who we wish to encourage, please bring a few sheets of A4/A3 paper and pencils, markers for the first session.
