This course will consist of six sessions, in weeks 1,5 and 9 of Term One, and 1,5, and 8 of Term Two. The first session will be an introduction to the Latin American context. Each of the other sessions will focus on a particular author and one of that author's works. The novels chosen are all available at reasonable cost. Participants will be expected to have read each work before the relevant session. Details of the novels will be given in the first session.
