This class is suitable for a variety of levels - the strong help the weak - but you need a reasonable working level of German. We read a sentence each (with help with pronunciation if necessary) and translate into English. It is a fun way to brush up rusty language, get to grips with varying sentence structures and expand vocabulary. We will be continuing to read 'Eifel-Wasser' by Jacques Berndorf. It is a quirky, modern, light-hearted Krimi. At a guess we will be about three-quarters through, but I will provide a short synopsis for newcomers. And Berndorf is very good at constantly re-capping essential points.
Note: The Autumn and Spring terms will be held via email.
