As many of you already know, our Bridge Street building is currently undergoing major construction work and is CLOSED TO ALL MEMBERS AND VISITORS over the Summer. You can continue to contact staff in the usual way, either by email or telephone – we are still available to help even though we are not in the premises! We hope you’ll be able to complete your application online but if not, please do call the Office on 01223 321587 during the office hours of 10am-2pm.
We’ll announce in the Bulletin when Bridge Street is to re-open.
**TODAY** – Wednesday 30 July – Outside U3AC premises – 10.30-midday. In person payments by card being taken – see below for more information.
Friday 1 August – Closing date for course applications to be included in the allocation process
We have been informed that our booking to Knebworth House has unfortunately been cancelled as they now have a film shoot taking place that week. The organisers have arranged an alternative visit to Hatfield House and Gardens on this date. Most members have been happy to change to Hatfield House but there are a few places available for anyone wishing to go. Full details and the application form are available on the website on the Trips and Visits page.
For those who don’t have access to online banking, we will be holding an in-person drop-in session outside the front entrance of our Bridge Street premises TODAY Wednesday 30 July from 10:30am – midday. Please bring your payment card and your completed application form. Unfortunately, there will be nowhere to sit.
We have asked members to return their course applications by 1 August, but please don’t leave it until the last-minute! To give us time to reply to any queries or issues we would welcome your applications sooner rather than later.
The programme of Summer Events is on the website: https://www.u3ac.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Summer-Event-final-MAY.pdf
If you would like to attend any of the events, please contact the Office either by email or telephone.
Once you have submitted your course choices they will show in your online account as ‘pending allocation’. At this point you will be unable to amend these yourself online, so please contact us at the Office to make any amendments. We would prefer this by email so that we have a written record.
Allocation will take place in August. You will receive an allocation letter, newsletter and membership card in the post in late August/early September.
This trip is now full. If you wish to be added to the waiting list, please contact the Office.
A trip has been arranged to visit Blenheim Palace on Tuesday 18 November 2025. Application forms will be available from Monday 11 August.
