As many of you already know, our Bridge Street building is currently undergoing major construction work and is CLOSED TO ALL MEMBERS AND VISITORS over the Summer. You can continue to contact staff in the usual way, either by email or telephone – we are still available to help even though we are not in the premises!
We’ll announce in the Bulletin when Bridge Street is to re-open.
I look forward to welcoming back Film Group regulars, and new members to our Autumn Term Season which begins on Tuesday 30th September at 1.00 p.m. at Picturehouse Cinema 3. As always, our varied programme includes a number of recent films, as well as some classics from the past. I shall shortly be preparing a draft programme for the Spring Term, so any film suggestions for future shows should be submitted to the Office, or given to myself no later than 14th October. I hope that you will take every opportunity to introduce other members, or friends to our shows.

The Cycling Group has published the schedule for Autumn which can be found on the website under “eXtra groups / Cycling group”. We welcome riders of all abilities and are seeing more and more members using e-bikes. A trip to Blenheim Palace has been arranged on Tuesday 18 November 2025.
Christmas at Blenheim Palace is fast becoming an unmissable diary date and for 2025 boasts The Palace of Oz in The Palace rooms and an enticing Christmas Market packed with tasty treats.
