Exploring the work of P.G. Wodehouse (LIT 51)

  • Day and time: Tuesday 10:30 - 12:00
    Weekly
  • Length of course: 2 terms. Autumn (10 Weeks), Spring (10 Weeks)
  • Vacancies: 14
  • Start date: 06 October 2026
  • Description:

We are encouraged to merely bask in the splendour of the works of P.G.Wodehouse and there is much to be said for sitting in a deckchair and reveling in the beauty of the worlds he creates. However, I have been curious to explore the tricks he uses to enchant us and I would relish the opportunity to reflect on just why we sit at the feet of Jeeves, laugh and cringe at Bertie and adore the vague unworldliness of the master of Blanding Castle. Will you come on the journey with me?
