  • Length of course: 3 terms. Autumn (2 Weeks), Spring (2 Weeks), Summer (2 Weeks)
  • Vacancies: 2
  • Start date: 08 October 2026
  • Description:

If, like me, you have fond memories of Undergraduate days when you could happily conduct lively debates about all kinds of fascinating topics and still all remain friends and sharing the port and coffee at the end of the evening.. this may be a group for you. No ad hominem attacks, the Overton Window as wide as you like.. just curious questions and kindly, thoughtful responses. Each participant brings along one question he or she finds interesting has one minute to ask it. We then have three minutes during which he or she takes one-line first impression questions and/or comments from the rest of us ... you can either contribute or skip...Once everyone has had a turn to present an idea, we have open conversations. We end with an optional one-line contribution from each of us as to what we have learned. Dates: 8 Oct, 5 Nov, 4 Feb, 4 Mar, 29 Apr, 6 May

  • Format: Course or activity without teaching

  • Coordinator: Karen Rodgers
