This course is a continuation of last year's Spanish beginners SPA (01) We have covered present tense and past tense, we shall be covering actively past historic and perfect tenses. The course is based on a Spanish textbook introducing grammar and practical vocabulary. We will also use when available, video and audio materials from Instituto Cervantes. I will encourage participants to take the Cervantes Institute official language examinations. Communicative skills will be developed via role-playing and active participation. We will encourage some basic readings and also some production of Spanish in sentences and in some writing work. We will do some listening practices to familiarise the hearing of accents and speeds.
