This course features quality Rock 'n' Roll, Rhythm 'n' Blues, Soul, some World Music and Pop Music, mainly from the 1950s and 1960s, but with a few detours into earlier and later decades. Many of the tracks selected were big hits in their time, others are less well known but authentic examples of their genre. The course is the successor to 'It's Only Rock 'n' Roll, But I Like It', which ran very successfully for several years. The music will be chosen and presented by course members. Join us to hear some of the best recordings of this - or indeed any - era. Please note this will be a sound only course, the music will be played from sources such as CD, iTunes or vinyl.
