Description:
We aim to enjoy and share reading books - mainly paperback fiction. We can explore stories that expand our horizons and understanding in a gentle and enjoyable way. We encourage participants to suggest books and lead discussions. We hope that our discussions will be wide ranging, looking at it from the perspectives of the author and the characters, as well as the settings and the challenges that they face. Our first book will be 'Still Life' by Sarah Winman. We aim to set out a programme for the year after the first couple of sessions.
