    Weekly

  • Vacancies: 0
  • Start date: 07 October 2026
  • Description:

This class focusses on the learning of an 8 minute sequence (form) of movements. There will be extensive revision of the foundation exercises and first part of this sequence to allow existing students time to recall the set and new students the opportunity to learn the basic movements. There will also be the opportunity for students to progress to the end of the form. These arts, based on the healing, meditative and martial traditions of China are becoming increasingly recognised as ideal practices to enhance health and well-being accessible to all ages. We will work with posture, breath and movement to develop individual exercises and a flowing sequence that can be practised regularly. We will work at a gentle pace, with the emphasis on slow individual development to enable each student to come to their own understanding of these arts. Note: There is an additional fee of £42 to pay for the tutor payable on application. Dates: 7 Oct - 9 Dec (not 28 Oct) 13 Jan - 24 Mar (not 17 Feb) 14 Apr - 23 Jun (not 2 Jun).
