The Military History Group is now in its 30th year. During the Pandemic we moved online successfully and then made the decision to stay there. Members are encouraged to give talks on aspects of Military History in which they are interested. Subjects, chosen by individual members, have come from a wide range of history and geography. They have included discussion of conflicts and battles, and unusual or unlikely events or military items. We have discussed distinguished military figures as well as the military experiences of family members. Presentations are followed by discussion. There is no compulsion for members to make a presentation, and no qualification is needed other than enthusiasm and an interest in Military History.
