Patterns and how to make them 2 (ARTC 07)

  • Day and time: Monday 0:00 - 0:00
  • Length of course: 1 term. Spring (10 Weeks)
  • Number of places: 12
  • Start date: 11 January 2021
  • Description:

Learn to draw spirals, Greek keys, mazes, Celtic knots and other patterns. This is a practical course, but there will also be some discussion of the history of the designs. You will make your own designs within each session of the course. No artistic skill required, no mathematical knowledge needed. You will be surprised how easy it is! You will need plain paper and pens or something to draw a line or colour in a small square. This course will be given by email, due to the current situation. This means that U3AC must have your email address. Each week, you will receive an email on one of the types of pattern (e.g. Spirals) complete with diagrams and photos. You do not need to open attachments, print anything, or access any exotic file type. Just read the email, and draw the patterns on your paper!

This course is a repeat of ARTC 05
