  • Description:

    The Course will be taught by Karen Stringer ANATD, MNATD, FNATD - Director of The Russian Ballet School in Cambridge. Karen specialises in teaching adults and believes strongly that everyone should have the chance to dance and learn a new skill. The course is open to beginners or those with some experience. The level will be tailored to the group but all classes will follow the same structure and include exercises at the barre to warm up the body. Centre work will include exercises and combinations of steps, followed by a group dance. Dances may include national, historical or folk dances. The aim is to increase fitness, strength, balance and poise. Comfortable clothes should be worn e.g. leggings, T-shirts and ballet shoes, or leotards and ballet skirts. Note: There is an additional fee of £27.30 to pay for the tutor for the Autumn term, plus an additional fee of £45.00 to pay for the tutor for the Spring and Summer terms, payable on application.
