We will start with 'Plain Tales from the Hills' which is a collection of short stories written by Kipling during his seven years working as a journalist in India from 1882 - 1889, a series of stories which brought him fame at home. Then we will read other books and poetry from Kipling's very extensive repertoire chosen by the group. Kipling was an Honorary Fellow of Magdalene College and so it is fitting that the group meets in a small conference room in the College.
