New Items

Autumn Term course feedback

Thank you to all those of you who completed the survey about your autumn term course experiences. About half of the respondents said the course had ‘exceeded expectations’ and well over a third said the course was ‘as they expected’. A very small number were found to be disappointed, but this was by some and not all members of the course, so it portrayed a division reflecting personal tastes/interests/expectations and so on.

Given the new scenario of teaching on Zoom for many tutors, this was a very positive set of feedback. It was also found to be in broad agreement with the Tutor Forum findings. All data has been treated confidentially. Individual tutors were sent their course feedback last week.

Maggie Balshaw, Director of Studies (Courses) and Sheila Bennett, Courses Committee.
