Gary Italiaander: The art of photographic restoration

A fascinating illustrated talk about the specialised restoration process of taking old and often damaged images which are then brought back to life to create new works of art. This talk has many interesting anecdotes including the family that wished to create a new portrait incorporating a family member who was (sadly) no longer alive!

Gary Italiaander is an internationally respected celebrity photographer whose studio was based at Harrods. His work has covered a wide variety of restorations for people including King Hussein and Queen Noor of Jordan as well as The King of Thailand.
