Corinne Duhig: Forensic anthropology – just like in the movies?

Speaker: Corinne Duhig

The media version of the forensic anthropologist is either peering down a microscope in a darkened laboratory – about to be attacked by a crazed perpetrator – or deep in a muddy pit excavating genocide victims while in range of a sniper. There are some grains of truth in these depictions, which Dr Duhig will talk about, as well as the real discipline and the challenges and rewards of her work, at home and abroad.

Corinne Duhig PhD FSA MCIfA is an archaeologist and anthropologist, and Director of Studies at Wolfson and Lucy Cavendish Colleges.
