The course (with accompanying book, copies available at cost price) introduces a binary philosophical structure which allows, where, appropriate, the interpretation of evidence according to both materialistic and holistic perspectives; it then proceeds to treat the scientific disciplines of information, physics, psychology, biology and society within this structure.
