Each member will pick a book of fiction (available in paperback) and lead the discussion. We will start in October with my choice of "Shuggie Bain" by Douglas Stuart. Hopefully, this will provide an example of how to proceed in terms of discussing a novel, analysing setting, character, plot, language, theme/s, critical reception and personal opinion. The latter is the most important and should lead to lively debate.
