    Weekly
  • Length of course: 3 terms. Autumn (9 Weeks), Spring (12 Weeks), Summer (8 Weeks)
  • Number of places: 20
  • Start date: 05 October 2022
  • Description:

This class focuses on the learning of an 8 minute sequence (form) of movements and associated exercises. These arts, based on the healing, meditative and martial traditions of China are becoming increasingly recognised as ideal practises to enhance health and well-being accessible to all ages and can help you with posture and balance, breathing, relaxation and managing long term conditions. We will work at a gentle pace, with the emphasis on slow individual development to enable each student to come to their own understanding of these arts. Many people will repeat the course several times. Please note that this class is all standing - if you do not feel that this is appropriate you might want to consider the later class 'T'ai Chi and Chi Kung Exercises'. Please wear loose, comfortable clothing and soft shoes. Note: There is an additional fee of £41 for pay for the tutor, payable on application.

    Dates: 5 Oct-7 Dec (not 26 Oct), 11 Jan-5 Apr (not 15 Feb), 12 Apr-14 Jun (not 26 Apr or 31 May)
