Opera singers take a variety of roles requiring differing vocal demands and also differing characterizations. We'll watch and listen to a range of singers, using at least two roles for each singer, to explore performances. The course is suitable for those new to opera as well as long-term opera goers. No technical musical knowledge required. Contributions from all will be welcomed.
