    Weekly
  • Length of course: 1 term. Autumn (10 Weeks)
  • Number of places: 10
  • Start date: 10 October 2022
  • Description:

Most people use computers but have little idea of the way they work. This course will look at the basic elements of a computer using a selection of on-line materials. Starting with 'the little man' computer, a basic demonstrator of the different parts of a computer we will go on to look in more detail at the elements that make up a modern computer. We will also study how a computer is programmed using some simple practical examples. I will use web based resources to demonstrate some of these ideas. Consequently you will need a laptop with a web browser.
