In 2012 U3AC made a formal commitment to manage its environmental impacts and in 2013 an Environment group was set up to help with this. It reports to the U3AC Council and is responsible for advising on promotion of environmental awareness and environmental practice throughout U3AC. It meets about every 6-8 weeks.
The group runs seminars on environmental/sustainability issues that are open to all U3AC members, and is a source of information about environmental activities in Cambridge and beyond through our web page on the U3AC website.
