Covid 19, an update (Spring term) (SCE 26)

  • Day and time: Friday 10:00 - 11:00
  • Length of course: 1 term. Spring (3 Weeks)
  • Number of places: 50
  • Start date: 15 January 2021
  • Description:

In these 3 sessions I will try to present an update on what is now generally accepted about SARS CoV2 and Covid 19. Starting with what we know about the virus now and how it is transmitted, looking at the illness that it can cause and then going on to discuss advice on how we can safeguard ourselves and a discussion of the vaccines that will be available. Although this discussion will complement the previous course I will recap the essentials so that it will not be necessary to have attended the previous course (or to remember it all ! )

This is not a medical course, I will simply try to present the science as I see it.
