A self-help group for members with a good knowledge of the language where we take turns in reading aloud works of German literature. We also discuss, preferably in German, both the content or any language point which may not be clear. This year we will read 'Alice' by contemporary author Judith Herman. This group may appeal to members who have up to now concentrated on grammar and now feel ready to enjoy reading. The book is published by Fischer and it should be available through Amazon.uk.
