We are an enthusiastic group of Arabic language students. Our levels of experience are mixed, and we are happy to welcome new class members who have mastered the basics of Arabic. At the moment we are working our way through 'Modern Arabic Short Stories', a bilingual reader, translated by Ronak Husni and Daniel Newman. During a typical class, we listen to a recorded part of a story, then read through and translate it, as well as practising speaking the language. Our course has an Arabic tutor for whose time there is an additional fee of approx £40 per term, payable at the first session of each term.
