Only in Matthew's gospel do we find the Wise Men, Peter walking on the water, and the suicide of Judas. It is also the most Jewish of the gospels. Most of the course will consist of us reading and discussing it together. We will also think about such issues as authorship, dating, and its relationship with the other gospels. No prior knowledge is needed and people of all faiths, or none, are welcome.
