Short Tennis (FIT 24)

  • Day and time: Thursday 10:00 - 11:00
  • Length of course: 3 terms. Autumn (10 Weeks), Spring (10 Weeks), Summer (10 Weeks)
  • Number of places: 18
  • Start date: 08 October 2020
  • Description:

Short Tennis is a smaller indoor version of tennis played with junior rackets and foam balls. The game is easy to pick up and ideal for the active older player. The serve is under arm and we play doubles so you always have help and support. You will eventually need your own junior racket but we have a few spares for you to try out. Come and play - I am sure you will enjoy it - it is a great game! Note: There is a £1.50 fee payable on entry to the venue.

Note: There is an additional fee of £19.80 for the Autumn term, payable on application.

Note: Under the Government's Tier 2 rules, it seems unlikely that this course can run, at least not in its current format. It may be possible to resume with some careful planning, possibly on the basis of playing singles, to minimise any mixing. We will be liaising with the course organiser and the venue and will contact members if and when we can start.

We know this is frustrating for everyone but will endeavour to get this up and running as soon as possible.
