Communication with Members

• The Website is increasingly important as a method of communication. Currently there are about 600 visits to it each week. Many members now use this method of accessing the Weekly Bulletin and of course the Newsletter can be accessed from here too. This is a very efficient mode of communication and I would encourage members to take advantage of it as a way of giving and receiving information. We are aware, however, that not everyone has access to the web and we will continue to use paper communication too.

• The Newsletter is sent to all our 2,500 members four times a year and provides a great deal of information on a wide range of topics. Each one covers a period of months and is a useful reference document. All members are encouraged to use it as a way of letting other members know what is going on in U3AC. It is your journal.

• The Weekly Bulletin is issued every Wednesday and is a useful, briefer, way between Newsletters, of giving up to date information, last minute changes and new items of interest. It can be accessed in the following ways:

1. by e-mail on request from the office
2. by picking up a paper copy from the foyer at 27-28 Bridge Street, or from the Wednesday lecture.
