Food and Drink Groups U3A Cambridge College Lunches (men and women welcome)Following the success of the four college lunches held under the Ladies Who Lunch umbrella, the next series of college lunches, starting in September, will be open to all U3AC members. The cost is £25-£28 (depending on college charges) and includes a two course meal followed by a tour of the college. Announcements will be made in the bulletin as events are arranged. The U3AC Wine ClubIn association with Cambridge Wine Merchants the Wine Club, Cambridge Wine Merchants have a wide range of excellent wines and have generously agreed to give up to 25% discount on a selection of wines, all year round, to U3AC members, on presentation of their U3AC membership card. Cambridge Wine Merchants are situated near Magdalene Street bridge and are also on Kings Parade. Any member of the U3AC is automatically a member of the U3AC Wine Club and can take advantage of the tasting evenings and offers. From time to time tasting sessions are organised which will be advertised in the Bulletin. |
