Venues

Courses are held at a number of venues beside the rooms at Bridge Street. Some are in members houses and others in various locations around Cambridge. Here is a list of the public venues we use.

How to Enrol for Courses
To enrol for classes, you will need to be a member, and obtain the full Programme of Studies from The U3AC Office, The Old Warehouse, 33 Bridge Street, Cambridge CB2 1UW, and to complete the application form. You may email us to request a copy to be posted to you.

How courses operate

U3AC is a voluntary self-help organisation where the tutors are themselves members. After payment of the enrolment fee of £5 and annual subscription of £40 there is no additional charge for the majority of courses and you are eligible to apply for up to 6. (Occasionally there is an additional charge to pay for an outside tutor or special equipment, this is clearly stated.)
We hope that having attended and enjoyed a course you will feel able to offer a course of your own to other members of U3AC in order for the organisation to flourish.

Course updates
Details of new classes or changes to classes will be announced in the Newsletter and in the Courses News on the home page.
